Sunscreen, honestly
The best sunscreen is the one you will wear every day. A plain guide to filters, finishes and how much to use.

We live on a coast with a UV index above 8 for five months of the year. Most of the visible ageing our customers ask us about, the dark spots, the crêpey texture on the cheeks, is sun. So we are going to say it plainly: if you buy one thing from us, make it an SPF you like enough to wear every morning.
Mineral or modern filters?
Mineral filters (zinc oxide) sit on the skin and are very gentle on eyes and reactive skin; the trade-off has always been a white cast. Our Mineral Day Fluid uses 18% non-nano zinc in a light fluid that blends clear on most skin tones. Modern organic filters are invisible and lighter still; Sheer Fluid SPF 50 uses EU-approved filters with very high, very stable protection. Both are broad-spectrum. Choose by how they feel.

If you buy one thing from us, make it an SPF you will actually wear.
How much, how often
Two finger lengths for face and neck, as the last step of the morning. Outdoors, reapply every two hours and after swimming or towelling. A tinted SPF helps if you skip foundation: iron oxides add protection against visible light, which matters for dark spots.
And remember the ears, the back of the neck and the hands. They are the places that tell on us at sixty.
