Orders placed before 13:00 Lisbon time on a working day leave the lab the same day. Everything else ships the next working day.

Write to us within an hour of ordering and we can usually change the address or the items. After it has been packed we can no longer stop it, but returns are easy.

Every order includes two samples chosen for what is in your bag. The Coast Kit is the easiest way to try five formulas at travel size.

Occasionally. Wild sea fennel is only picked from May to July, so the formulas that use it can run short in late spring. Sign up on the product page and we will write when it is back.

Portugal, the rest of the EU, the UK, Switzerland, Norway and the United States. Prices are in US dollars; EU and UK orders are charged in local currency at checkout.

Thirty days, even if you have opened it. If a formula does not suit your skin, send it back and we will refund you or swap it. We reuse or recycle every returned bottle.

Not for EU or UK orders. US orders under $800 are duty-free. Swiss and Norwegian orders may carry local import VAT.

Every formula is numbered in the order it left our lab, from Nº 01 to Nº 73. The number never changes, so you can always reorder the one you know.

Creams and body care come as a light recyclable pod that clicks into the jar you already have. Lift the old pod out, press the new one in. Refills cost less every time.

Never, at any stage. Formulas are assessed by a dermatologist and tested on human volunteers by an independent lab.

Most are, but avoid Retinal Night Serum and check with your doctor about Tide Peel and Mandelic Clarity Serum. Bakuchiol Night Serum is our retinoid-free alternative.

Twelve months for most formulas; the symbol on the bottle shows the exact time. Every bottle is dated when it is poured.

Not on the same night. Alternate them, start each one slowly, and always wear SPF the next morning.

The glass, aluminium tubes and paper are widely recyclable. Pumps and droppers have mixed parts; send them back with any return and we recycle them properly. Creams and body care also come as refills.
